Metropolitan Golf Club is an internet-based golf club for golfers who do not have a home course and regularly play courses in the St. Louis region. The purpose of the Metropolitan GC is to create an opportunity for golfers to play together at courses in the St. Louis area, as well as provide them a USGA GHIN Handicap Index and the ability to track personal golf statistics. Metropolitan GC provides golfers the freedom to play courses all over the St. Louis region and still belong to a club. Metropolitan GC provides golfers a sense of community and the ability to meet other golfers within this club they may not have otherwise.
Metropolitan GC is more than just a place to keep your Handicap Index. Members of Metropolitan GC will have online access via the eClubhouse to My Game, Find Other Players, and more. In My Game, you have tools to Maintain a Profile, Post Scores, Look Up Handicap, and Track Stats, such as Greens in Regulation, Average Scores, and Putts, in myStats. In Find Other Players, you can find other players with whom to play. You can search by availability or Handicap Index. A player search is not limited to the club you are in, a search can include players who are in other clubs in the area. Once you find a player, you can connect with each other to schedule a round based on availability. Why Join? Golfers who play different courses and do not have a home course can now belong to a club and still have the freedom to play around.
